Welcome to the ECSA Batter's Box!

The ECSA is open to both gay and non-gay men and women. Playing levels range from advanced to beginner and cover four divisions (A, B, C & D). Division placement depends primarily on player ability and overall team ability.

Every year the top teams in all divisions win entry to the NAGAAA Gay Softball World Series, which in 2010 will be held in Columbus, Ohio.

News Icon 2011 Board Elections

Results of the recent election for ECSA Open Division board officers were announced at the ECSA Awards Party on August 1.

Director of Competition: Frank Pichinini
Secretary: John Lyon
AB Division Commissioner: Randy Robison
D Division Commissioner: Joan Holzman

Randy and Joan ran unopposed for their Divisional Commissioner roles. Other candidates were Floyd Loveland (Director of Competition), Chris Larson (Director of Competition), Phil Doles (Secretary), and Dennis Weymouth (Secretary).

On behalf of the rest of the league, I'd like to thank all of the candidates for their interest in taking on a leadership position with the league.

Also, if you are interested leading or participating in a Board committee or special project in a non-elected role, please contact me commissioner@seattlegaysoftball.com.

More details will be announced in October, but we plan to have standings committees for Bylaws, Fundraising, Awards, Pride, and Special Events.
