Team and Player of the Week
Last week's C Division Team of the Week was the Squadron.
"Congratulations to Squadron for starting at 2-0"

Other C Division team nominations include Sin.

Last week's C Division Player of the Week was Justin Siebert of the Seawolves.
"In two games (with 7 or 8 at bats) Justin bat 1000 and also have 5 home runs!!!! In 5 years with ECSA I've never seen that before and this is his first season playing C ball!"

"I nominate Justin Siebert of the Seawolves for player of the week. He had an impressive opening day as a new C player moving up from D division. He managed to hit an impressivce 5 and 6 record with 5 HOME RUNS including 13 RBIs. Hats off to you Justin way to set the bar! We're excited to see what the rest of the season brings."

Other C Division player nominations include Scott Martin.

The D Division Team of the Week was Stealth.
"The Stealth had a great opening day, and I hope they continue that as a trend throughout the rest of the season. While they did quite the number to my team, they won with humility, and refrained from a boastful win. I believe that humility is vital to the league, and feel they have earned Team of the Week for their combined wins and grace in winning them. And their short stop is amazing."

There were no other D Division team nominations

Last week's D Division Player of the Week was Brian Sykes of the Throttle.
"The Seattle Throttle had a rough opening day, to say the least. That being said, Bryan Sykes, pitcher for the Seattle Throttle, had an amazing day. He showed the other teams that you don't hit a line drive towards our pitcher (his glove is fast as a hockey goalie), or a grounder in his vicinity (he'll field it and accurately throw to the correct play base), and be ready to swing, because Wanda will pitch it well. And if you are going to play left field, back the eff up when Ms. Sykes comes to the plate. Two standing home runs, with deep hits into left field (one during the Saints game, one during the Stealth game), and Lord knows that Sykes can run those bases. Bryan showed us all what focusing on the task at hand, keeping your head in the game, and not letting the score get you down can do, and for this, I believe he has very well earned Player of the Week."

"I would like to nominate Bryan Sykes. He pitched two great games against the Saints and the Stealth. He struck out 3 players. He caught two balls that were hit right him and he had two infield home runs. This kid is unstoppable!"

Other D division player nominees included TJ Farley.
