Teams of the Week
B Division Team of the Week:  Maulers
"The Maulers were the only B team that went 2 and 0 for the day. Their wins moved them into a tie for 2nd place in the B Division."

"The Maulers played tough defense against the division leading Dirty Dawgs and squeaked out a 5-4 victory. Then the Maulers rallied late in the game against the Vendetta for another come from behind victory. Not bad for a brand new B team..... Aye?"

There were no other nominees for the B Division.

C Division Team of the Week:  Toros
"I would like to nominate the Toros for Team of the Week. The Toros continue to show what the ECSA is all about, having fun! Week after week, the Toros have a good time on the fields. They are always smiling and always cheering each other on. They prove that regardless of the outcome, you can still have a good time."

The Warhawks were also nominated.

D Division Team of the Week:  Inferno
"The Inferno had a really strong day winning both of their games. They scored 44 runs in those 2 games and only gave up 6 runs for the day."

There were no other nominees for the D Division.

Players of the Week
B Division Player of the Week:  Marvin Jayne (Maulers)
"Marvin played a specular game pitching against the Dirty Dawgs - he held them to only 4 runs and made several great defensive plays from the pitchers plate."

Dustin Mears, George Aoyama, Brian Lonardo, David Koyoma and Toby Jones were also nominated.

C Division Player of the Week:  Brian Craft (Warhawks)
"I would like to nominate Brian Craft of the Warhawks. Not only did he pitch amazing, holding the Bulldogs and Atomic to 7 and 6 runs respectively, he batted nearly 1000 for both games. He was even given the Warhawk "Team Bat" for the week"

Doug Lyons and Tarrell Parramore were also nominated.

D Division Player of the Week:  Bo Mayfield
"Playing opposite Green Machine, it was quite frustrating having Bo snatch line drives, grounders and pop flies, then go and hit a hard left triple.  Frustrating for me, but awesome for him.  Great plays on the field, great running and great hits - I think Bo has earned Player of the Week"

"Bo played short stop and never gave up. He caught line drive after line drive with amazing precision!""

Patrick Shandy, Mark Hughes, and Richard Newman were also nominated.
